Cosmetology program consist of 1600 hours. The first half of the program will cover theory lectures, instructor guided hands-on training, interactive exercises, and demonstration through special events. The second half of the program will be applying your skills to the general public in the student salon
Cosmetology is an exciting and rewarding career, a way to express your passion for hair care, skin care, and Make up. Upon completion of the hours and passing the final exams you will receive a diploma and be prepared to apply for the Washington state board examination.

hair styling, braiding, curling thermal waving, finger
waving, roller setting, pin curl placement, blow-drying,
shampooing, scalp and hair treatments, conditioning,
reconditioning, hair analysis, care of hair pieces, wigs
and wefts, tools, equipment, and implements
(identification and usage).
Hair straightening, hair relaxing, thermal hair
straightening, blow-outs, permanents, hair coloring,
tinting, bleaching and chemistry, tools, equipment
and implements (identification and usage).
Shaving, beard and mustache shaping, trimming,
superfluous hair removal, waxing, facials, facial
massages, facial makeup, tools, equipment and
implements (identification and usage).
Manicuring and pedicuring
Anatomy and physiology of the hair, skin, nails and
disorders of the hair, skin, scalp and nails.
Product Knowledge, product use and sales, preparing
and consulting with customers for services.
Laws, rules, professional ethics and history of barbering
Individual student needs, industry trends and electives,
i.e. – record keeping, mathematics, communications,
human relations, public relations, first aid, and guest
